DLSU vs ADMU

The long time dilemma of choosing a college has always been the problem of undergraduates. Which is better? Students choosing between DLSU and ADMU will indeed have a hard time. There are many things to consider in choosing a college to enter. These are the courses, convenience and preferences. But, weighing all these, the preferred course should be the top priority. Only when you are unsure of your course or both colleges offer the same course should you consider other factors in choosing which school to enter. To choose between these colleges, one must know the pros and cons. The pros of studying in DLSU is the course offering. DLSU offers accounting course which is one of the favored courses by students because it offers job opportunities for the students when they graduate. DLSU also offers LIA-COM. This is a course that has 2 majors. A student can choose any liberal arts course and one commerce course. It’s like hitting 2 birds with one stone. In a span of 4-6 years, a student is able to major in 2 courses. Of course, having 2 majors would be advantageous in the future. Though DLSU has a lot of advantages, it also has disadvantages. Just last year, DLSU’s rank sank to #4. This is a big concern since it says a lot of things about DLSU. DLSU also has a smaller campus compared to ADMU’s. It is incapable of accommodating thousands of students. Similarly, ADMU also has its advantages and disadvantages. For example, ADMU offers business courses that are also preferred by many undergraduates. In addition to this, ADMU has a large campus. The students aren’t cramped and they can accommodate more students compared to DLSU. Another advantage of ADMU is its exclusivity. It is more appealing because no one can really say that students used money or influence to get in. they can proudly say that they got accepted because of their brains. Although ADMU is a prestigious school, it is located in a very inconvenient area. It is hard to go to ADMU if the LRT breaks down. Also, ADMU does not offer accounting course and the advantage of having a big campus is easily lost because it’s tiring and costly just to get to another building within the campus.

Both DLSU and ADMU are prestigious schools. No one can say that one is better than the other. They both have they’re pros and cons. What is most important in choosing a college is our own preference and what is more beneficial for us. Follow your heart, to be able to excel in your course, it is important to love what you do.
